NEXEN Roadian HP is a high-speed summer tyre with a directional, symmetrical tread pattern that provides a high level of handling both in a straight line and around corners. The model is designed to fit a wide range of crossovers and offers increased comfort.

Distinctive Features

The addition of silica reduces viscosity and improves the workability and dispersion of the final rubber compound of the tyre tread. The use of environmentally friendly recycled oil together with natural palm oil in the production process enhances the compatibility properties of the polymer and silica.

The NEXEN Roadian HP tyre has a double shielding layer across its entire width in the tread area, which contributes to stiffness and provides steering stability when driving at high speeds. The use of a high-stiffness filler cord increases bead strength and improves handling characteristics. A protective edge on the tyre sidewall reduces the chance of tearing the carcass cord and protects the rim from damage when hiting an obstacle.

The symmetrical, directional V shaped design and the use of silica (silicon dioxide) in the tread compound provide improved grip on all types of road surfaces. Large blocks in the shoulder zone, along with excellent drainage properties of the directional pattern, reduce the risk of aquaplaning and improve braking performance and wet handling.

Optimized block sizes and an evenly spaced 5 step tread pattern reduce noise generation and enhance acoustic comfort.
