The Bridgestone A005 Weather Control Evo all-season tyre is designed for passenger cars with enhanced dynamic properties. It is the latest edition to Bridgestone's all-season tyre range that offers outstanding wet grip and enhanced snow performance. It was introduced in 2018 and quickly gained widespread popularity around the world.

The tread of the tyre is made from a Nano Pro-Tech rubber compound, distinguished by its high content of silicon oxides and special polymers. This composition ensures the tyre remains highly grippy on cold, wet asphalt and is resistant to abrasive wear, even with dynamic driving.

Computer modeling was extensively used in the tyre's development, particularly for the carcass. The optimized design significantly improves the uniformity of pressure distribution across the contact patch, which, in turn, enhances maneuverability and greatly reduces uneven tread wear.

The directional V-shaped tread design plays a crucial role. The central part of the tread features a large number of small elements arranged at an angle to each other. Four deep longitudinal drainage channels encircle the tyre. In conjunction with the small transverse grooves, these channels quickly evacuate water, slush, or liquid mud from the contact patch, improving traction and preventing aquaplaning.
