The Bridgestone Blizzak Ice tyre is an improvement over the popular VRX2 winter series, which entered the market just a year before the release of this new model.

The winter tyre Bridgestone Blizzak Ice is made from an extremely durable compound with several specific properties. Thanks to Active Multicell Compound II technology, the tyre can absorb small drops of water from the surface. This eliminates the thin water film, increasing safety and improving vehicle control in even the most challenging conditions.

Due to the unique structure of the asymmetric tread, the Blizzak Ice tyre is suitable for any driving conditions. The tyre performs excellently on dry, wet, snowy, and icy roads. The grip results from the coordinated work of all tread elements, including:

• the tread depth;
• longitudinal and transverse drainage grooves;
• unique multi-faceted blocks;
• a multi-step block pattern;
• a wide centre rib consisting of twin slanted beads;
• three-dimensional and two-dimensional sipes;
• lateral ground serrations.
